Ferlin is a 6-month-old Pit Bull Terrier mix weighing 40 lbs who has proudly appointed himself the protector of the shelter's smallest pups. He loves to romp with the big dogs but somehow knows to play gently with his pint-sized friends. If playtime gets a little too rough, Ferlin is quick to step in, redirecting the bigger dogs and making sure the little ones stay safe.
